Groupon.com* has started a revolution in the ecommerce industry. With it’s success, thousands of websites around the world has mushroomed. Noticing that there is no social buying extension for Joomla Content Management System, the founders of Matamko.com decided to build an extension for Joomla for social buying.
After months of planning and development, we had to think of a suitable name for our extension. With the element of social buying being “buying together”, we decided to call our extension “en masse”, which means “together” in French.
